If you’re sending your campaigns, you’ll sometimes get subscribers marked as errors.

This can have several reasons

  • The email address is invalid
  • The domain doesn’t exist
  • The email was rejected by the server

Most of these errors are “subscriber-based,” which causes the subscriber to get marked as “error”, but the campaign still continues to send its messages. Sometimes Mailster cannot determine if an error is “campaign-based” and will trigger it as “subscriber-based”.

This causes a list of subscribers with an error status and a finished campaign.

In most cases, the server rejected your email mostly because of:

  • reaching sending limits
  • send to many blacklisted mails
  • other technical reason

Please contact your email provider for a detailed explanation.

You can quickly change the status by choosing the option from the Bulk Action dropdown.
